Job Responsibilities
Preparation of legal and construction survey sketches & plans using CAD software including Subdivisions, Stakings, Building Location Certificates, Topographic Surveys, Construction Layouts and Condominium Plans.
Requirements & Qualifications
-
Diploma in Geomatics or Municipal Technology from an institute of recognized standing or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge/experience.
-
Basic knowledge of land surveying practices and field procedures.
-
AutoCAD or Microsurvey: 2+ years.
-
Valid Driver's License.
-
Minimum 2 years directly related experience assisting in field surveys or drafting or a combination of both.
Survey Party Chief

Job Responsibilities
Supervise and participate in the execution of legal & construction surveys such as Subdivisions, Stakings, Building Location Certificates, Topographic Surveys and Construction Layouts.
Collect survey data using GNSS, Total Stations, and other survey equipment.
Record detailed daily field notes.

Requirements
-
Minimum 2-year diploma in Geomatics or Municipal Technology from an institute of recognized standing or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge/experience.

3+ years experience as Survey Party Chief.

Experience with the use of GNSS, Total Stations, and other survey equipment.
-
Knowledge of Cadastral Land Surveying practices and field procedures.
-
Ability to interpret field notes, plans of survey and construction drawings.
-
Ability to perform survey-related mathematical calculations.
-
Work under pressure, attention to detail.
-
Able to effectively communicate with office staff.
-
Ability to supervise 1 to 2 people.
-
Physically able to perform manual labour in all weather conditions including digging, cutting lines and placing survey bars.
-
Willing to work overtime as required.
-
Valid Driver's License.
Field Technician ​
Job Responsibilities
-
Assisting the Party Chief in performing various types of Land Surveys including Staking Certificates, Building Location Certificates, Subdivisions, Topographic Surveys etc.
-
Operate GPS, Total Station and other survey equipment.
-
Operate off road vehicles, hammering survey bars, digging & clearing bush
-
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, able to perform manual labour in all weather conditions.
-
Experience with the use of GPS, Total Stations and other survey equipment considered an asset. Must be willing to work overtime as required.
